CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS BEFORE DEPARTURE: All cancellations after deposit/payment should be effected in writing. Cancellation received after deposit/payment is received are subject to the following penalties: (Fees are per person):

Regular Tours: $ 100.00; 45 to 31 days prior departure - $ 200.00; 30 to 7 days prior - $300.00; less than 7 days prior departure- $ 400.00.

Motorcoach Tours: $ 200.00; 45 to 31 days prior departure- 25% of land cost; 29 to 7 days prior- 50% of land cost; Less than 7 days prior- no refund.

Douro Cruise: $ 100.00; 120 to 90 days prior departure - 15% of tour cost; 89 to 60 days prior - 35% of land cost; 59 to 30 days prior - 50% of land cost; less than 30 prior to departure- no refund.

Additional fees imposed by suppliers beyond our control may also be imposed. If Abreu Tours cancels a tour, an alternate tour will be suggested. If that tour is unacceptable, Abreu Tours will refund all monies paid to Abreu Tours by your travel agent; there is no additional liability. Abreu Tours cannot assume responsibility for any fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets. CANCELLATIONS FEES - AIR: Fares used in this brochure are NON-REFUNDABLE after ticket issuance. Cancellation fees may be waived if cause is illness of passenger or member of immediate family at air carrier’s discretion- check with your travel agent (medical and hospital certificates required). CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS AFTER DEPARTURE:

There will be no refunds returned for unused portions of a tour unless these arrangements have been made with your travel agent and Abreu Tours before departure of the tour. If you must return home after the commencement of a tour, you will be refunded the net funds Abreu can recover from the suppliers of the services not used. Refunds will not be made for less than 3 days and 2 nights of consecutive absence from the tour. Refunds will not be made for unused sightseeing tours, transfers, or meals. Applications for refund must be made in writing to Abreu Tours within 60 days of tour termination.
